吴严生，男，1989年12月生，安徽安庆人；博士，副教授（校长专聘教授），硕士生导师。2019 年毕业于南京航空航天大学，获得理学博士学位，导师岳勤教 授。2019 年 9 月至 2020 年 8 月，在韩国梨花女子大学数学研究所从事博士后研究工作，合作导师 Yoonjin Lee 教授。2023 年 3 月至 2024 年 2 月，在香港科技大学计算机科学与工程学系做访问学者， 合作导师丁存生教授。国家基金委函评专家，香港恒隆数学奖函评专家，江苏省百篇优秀博士论文获得者, 南京邮电大学华礼首届拔尖人才，2024 年入选江苏省第七期 “333 工程 ” -中青年科学技术带头人。2024 年入选江苏省科技人才-科技副总。中国计算机学会会员，欧洲数学会《数学文摘》、美国数学会《数学评论》评论员. 国际 SCI 杂志《AIMS Mathematics》编辑, SCI 杂志《Mathematics》客座编辑. 在 IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series A、Designs Codes and Cryptography、 Finite Fields and Their Applications 等国际期刊上发表 SCI 论文 60 余篇，其中包括编码领域旗舰期刊、中国计算机学会推荐 A 类期刊 CCF-A IEEE TIT 12 篇。

主要研究方向为 1）信息安全中的纠错编码理论; 2) 编码理论在密码学及其相关学科中的应用; 3) 密码理论及其应用。目前研究兴趣是代数编码理论、密码函数、纠错码密码体制（抗量子攻击)。
